BRUCE PETERKA - PARTNER
Bruce has lead an extensive career as a business owner and CFO consultant. His hands-on business experience, which includes a Fortune 100 company, encompasses finance, HR, logistics, IT, sales and marketing.
As his focus shifted to outsource CFO consulting, Bruce found that many small and mid-sized companies lacked adequate financial oversight and strategic planning.
Thus, he developed a unique synergistic service model, which offers broad, multidiscipline CFO-level guidance coupled with in-depth application of advanced QuickBooks tools.
"QuickBooks is incredibly powerful, with planning and tracking capabilities most people don't even know about. I became an expert in QuickBooks — spent more than six-thousand hours of time in the system — so I could provide my clients a custom financial system which rivals those used by larger companies," he said.
"CFO's must see the big picture and have wide-ranging experience," he added. "Also, they should be comfortable in all aspects of the business, making sure resources are deployed across the company as efficiently and productively as possible. I also believe that technology is the key to reducing management burdens and pulls together the best information to guide decision making."
He’s a graduate of Intuit University and holds certifications in QuickBooks Advance Certification, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks POS and Revel.
Bruce earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Dakota.
Bruce and his wife Barbara live in the Denver metro area and enjoy sailing, travel, fine dining and motorcycle touring.
