Intuit announced an exciting change to QuickBooks Online Payroll. In early fall 2021, the subscription for current QuickBooks Online Payroll customers will include an automated income and employment verification service powered by The Work Number® from Equifax.

It’s little used, but very powerful within QuickBooks. It’s the “customer type” field. This often overlooked field can add a whole new dimension to your QuickBooks customer data.

As part of Intuit’s ongoing endeavor to explore new ways to help small businesses manage their outgoing payments more easily, QuickBooks® Online is launching a new, upgraded, embedded bill payment capability to customers using QuickBooks Online Essentials, Plus, and Advanced.
