How to fix QuickBooks POS V19 PIN Pad issue

POS

Lane/5000 PIN Pad

Intuit's manufacturer of the Tetra Lane 5000 PIN Pad has identified a defect in the software.

The defect can cause intermittent freezing when processing transactions. This defect poses no security risk. The manufacturer is working urgently to fix this issue along with Intuit's Product Development and Customer Success teams.

If you have freezing issues with your PIN Pad, try the following:

  • Reboot the PIN Pad (temporary fix).

  • If available, revert back to the older Ingenico iPP350 PIN Pads. The iPP350 PIN Pads will also work with QuickBooks POS v19.0.

  • If you still experience the freezing issue, please contact Intuit Care at 800-348-0254 for further assistance.
